About Chestnut Oaks

Incorporated in September of 1963, the Chestnut Oaks Association proceeded to purchase land at the corner of Parham and Fordson Roads. A pool was built, and the fun began. A large baby pool, tennis courts, children's play area, blacktop with hoop, tennis practice area, and covered pavilion for parties and picnics were added over the years. Our Family Oriented Recreation Association offers:

Large, 25 Meter, L-Shape pool with diving board and waterslide
Large baby pool with graduated depths
Swim lessons and on-premise tennis instruction
Basketball court and volleyball area
Tennis leagues available with tournament play for both adults and children

Competitive swim team; member of GRAL (Greater Richmond Aquatic League)
4 Tennis Courts (lit for evening play)
Recreation area and picnic shelter/pavilion
Social events all Summer!
Member of the Richmond Suburban Adult and Junior Tennis Leagues

Stingrays Swim Team

Pool members ages 4-18 by June 1 of the current year are eligible to join the CORA Stingrays swim team. Visit the team's Swimtopia page for more swim team information.
