Chestnut Oaks Party Policy

Our objective is simple: we want Chestnut Oaks members to be able to enjoy the facility with family and friends. The party policy is designed to accommodate reasonably sized parties, while respecting our facility’s limitations and all members’ desire to enjoy the pool.

Please note that swim meets and pool wide social events can limit below selections)

Saturdays: 11-1 or 5-7p
Sundays: 12-2 or 5-7p
Weekdays (M-TH): 10-8p
Friday: 10-2p
Holidays or Holiday Weekends: these are handled on a case-by-case basis

Party Rules:

• Parties must be schedule in advance and approved by facility management.
• Please e-mail us at info@chestnutoaks.org with the date, number of guests, if any of the guests are under 18. We will reply as soon as we are able.
• Bringing six or more guests is considered a party, even if the pavilion is not needed
• Parties are only available to members and are limited to two hours.
• No party should exceed 25 attendees, including members and non-members. Holiday weekends have different limitations.
• If there are 26-40 attendees (including members), CORA can review on a case-by-case basis for approval. If approved, the party would pay a $100 large party fee on top of any purchased guest passes. This accounts for additional staff for the pool. 
• There is no party reservation fee. The only cost is guest passes for each non-member. We do not offer services other than use of half the pavilion.
• Guest passes are $7 or $10 on holidays and holiday weekends.
• Please read the Rental Policy/Rules below and then Select a date on the calendar to view the reservation grid for that day.
• The party shall have the use of ½ of the pavilion during the allotted two hours. If your party would like to reserve three tables on the pool deck, please simply let us know when you initiate the request. (exceptions may apply due to holidays or high volume days)
• All parties must comply with the CORA alcohol policy. Adults of legal drinking age may bring alcohol for their personal consumption. Alcohol must be served and consumed in opaque, nonbranded, non-glass containers.
• The party shall end at the designated time and the party shall disperse promptly. At the end of the 2-hour slot, it is expected that the party will quickly clean up and vacate the pavilion.
• No class parties, grade level parties, or graduation parties are allowed at the beginning of the season due to large crowds anticipated for pool opening.
• No parties during social events. Kids can invite friends (fewer than 5) but no organized parties are allowed during CORA events.
• NO GLASS of any kind is allowed at CORA at any time.

The Facility Manager has the authority to stop a party and instruct the participants to disperse at any time at their sole discretion.
